Typically it’s $79/month so in less than 4 months you will already have started saving money you would have paid.  Plus, they’re completely revamping the software in the coming months so you can expect an even better Stats Junky!

What does it do?

StatsJunky is a little program that keeps track of all of the stats at all of your CPA/PPC networks.  It saves you the time of having to login manually to every one of these sites multiple times per day.  This was what intrigued me most, because I’m an obsessive stat checker and checking stats was probably the biggest weapon in my procrastination arsenal.

How does it work?

When you start the software (after it automatically attempts to update itself) you are able to enter the login and password of all your CPA/PPC networks.  It doesn’t have every single network listed, but it should have everything you’re using.  The login information is always stored on your local harddrive, which is nice, so I’m not too worried about Stats Junky stealing my account info.  I also liked the following other features:

-Offers custom graphs for any date range or number of affiliate programs

-Desktop alert, pops out when you make a sale or lead  NOTE: with one of my networks, this happens every time the stats update, regardless of whether it was a new sale or not.  This is why I don’t use this function anymore.

-Sound alerts, similar to desktop alerts but you can play the sound file of your choosing whenever there is a lead or sale.  I also stopped using this for the same reason as the desktop alerts.

-Estimates total earnings at the end of the period (week, month).  I know it’s just a simple mathematical proportion but I still think this is nice.

-Mobile Stats… Never used it though, otherwise I would be glued to my phone all day.

Performance

The stats aren’t the fastest thing to download (although my DSL line is pretty lame) but the software itself isn’t especially memory or CPU intensive, which is obviously a good thing.  I have never had the software crash or cause other programs to crash.

128 MB Ram
100 MB free disk space.

Nothing difficult here, but note that Stats Junky is currently NOT available for the Mac.

Costs

Aha! The most important part.  Stats Junky costs $99/month.  It’s not cheap, but it’s certainly not expensive considering how much time it saves you.

Do this:

1. Add up all the time in a day when you check your affiliate/PPC accounts

2. Multiply that by 31

3. Figure out if that enormous chunk of time is worth $99 to you.

If it’s not, then maybe StatsJunky and IM in general aren’t for you.  Either way, I recommend giving the 7 day free trial a chance.  You will thank me when you do.
